Refund Policy

At Horus MMO (Modern Media Operations), we are committed to delivering high-quality technical consulting services and digital solutions. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds or credits may be issued for our productized services and custom engagements.
1. Overview
Because our services are professional consulting and custom technical deliverables, refund eligibility depends on the nature of the engagement and the stage of work completed. We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and transparently.
2. Refund Eligibility by Service Type

3. Fixed-Price Services
3.1 Before Commencement
If you have paid for a fixed-price service and wish to cancel before any work has been initiated, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@horusmmo.com.
3.2 After Commencement
If work has already begun on a fixed-price engagement, a partial refund may be issued based on the percentage of work remaining. We will provide a written breakdown of the work completed and the corresponding costs. The refund amount will equal the total payment minus the documented cost of work performed.
3.3 Completed Work
Once a fixed-price deliverable has been submitted to the client and the revision period (14 calendar days from delivery) has elapsed without a revision request, the engagement is considered complete and no refund will be issued.
4. Hourly Consulting Services
Hourly consulting services (e.g., Windows Driver Development & System Integration Consulting at $150.00/hr) are billed for time worked and are non-refundable. Clients receive detailed time logs for all hours billed. If you believe hours were billed incorrectly, please contact us within seven (7) days of receiving the invoice for a review and correction.
5. Revision & Satisfaction Guarantee
For all fixed-price engagements, we offer one (1) round of revisions at no additional cost within fourteen (14) calendar days of deliverable submission. This revision round is intended to address any discrepancies between the delivered work and the agreed scope-of-work. Additional revision rounds may be available at an agreed-upon hourly rate.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a deliverable and believe a refund is warranted, we encourage you to:
- Contact us at support@horusmmo.com with a detailed description of the issue.
- Allow our team up to five (5) business days to review the matter and propose a resolution.
- If we cannot reach an agreement, the matter will be subject to the dispute resolution procedures outlined in our Terms of Service.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days of approval. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will coordinate an alternative refund method with the client.
8. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- The client fails to provide required materials, access, or approvals necessary for project completion, resulting in project delays or inability to deliver.
- The client's requirements change significantly from the agreed SOW after work has commenced, unless a new SOW is executed.
- The client misrepresents project requirements during the initial scoping process.
9. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage clients to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first contacting Horus MMO may result in suspension of services and may impact your ability to engage our services in the future. We are committed to resolving payment disputes promptly and fairly.
